The Pan American Fencing Academy

CLINICS

The Pan American Fencing Academy conducts one day clinics to prepare fencing coaches for the professional examinations of the United States Fencing Coaches Association.  These clinics are conducted using a standard curriculum that is designed to teach the student the lesson types and the way in which those lessons must be delivered to meet the standards of professional certification.  The curriculum has been designed in cooperation with the Certification and Accreditation Board of the USFCA.  Clinics are not weapons specific.  All PAFA courses award continuing education units (CEU), the national standard measure of formal learning conducted outside the college or university setting.  One CEU equals 10 contact hours of instruction.
